While these small businesses have the advantage of being more flexible and able to provide faster responses for local markets, it also means that they lack the critical size needed to develop and reach larger markets.
THE ENGAGEMENT AGIR/TRANSLOG n partnership with the professionals, the Languedoc-Roussillon Region is committed to boosting the region’s economic growth by combining the leverage of the local authorities with the dynamism and creativity of local businesses. To this end, following an initial network contract with the food sector, the Region is pursuing the initiative with a new network contract specific to the transport/logistics sector.
The AGIR contract The network contract contributes to the realisation of joint projects put forward by firms in the sector and approved by TRANSLOG SUD DE FRANCE, and helps to restructure the regional network, step up its global logistics offer and find ways to develop multimodal solutions, especially combined rail-road transport, the most viable alternative to all-road transport.
Translog Sud de France is an association and receives technical and financial support from the Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Council, the Languedoc Roussillon Regional Chamber of Commerce and the State.
